Bruce Dale
Prof. Bruce Dale, professor at Michigan State University, author of hundreds of Peer Reviewed publications, editor of the scientific journal “Biofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefineries”, one of the world’s leading experts on biofuels and the bio-based economy. He enthusiastically accepted the invitation to join the Wakonda advisory board and supervises the entire project as well as taking care of some scientific aspects.

Alberto Mattiacci
Alberto Mattiacci is Full Professor of Economics and Business Management at Sapienza and Luiss Business School. His research concerns consumer markets and the evolution of the economic and social conditions that influence them. His activity ranges from consultancy to education, he sits on the boards of cultural foundations and Eur SpA, represents Italy in an EU technical table and is President of the Eurispes Scientific Committee.

Francesca Claudia Borgo
Francesca Borgo, degree in Food Science and Technology and PhD in Food Biotechnology and researcher at San Raffaele Center for Omics Sciences. She is the author of numerous scientific articles in international journals regarding the role of the intestinal microbiota, nutrition and human health. She brings her expertise on the composition of the microbiota and diet to Wakonda, she supervises the Research and Development sector especially with regards to food products.

Diego Romano
Diego Romano is an associate professor at the Department of Food, Nutrition and Environmental Sciences (DeFENS) of the University of Milan. The research activities concern the development of microbial bioprocesses (biotransformations and fermentations) within different industrial sectors (chemical-pharmaceutical, agri-food, nutraceutical).

Sergio Saia
Sergio Saia, associate professor of Agronomy and Herbaceous Crops at the Department of Veterinary Sciences of the University of Pisa, is responsible for the European project SHARInG-MeD “Soil Health and Agriculture Resilience through an Integrated Geographical information systems of Mediterranean Drylands” financed under the call 2022 of the PRIMA Programme, with the aim of promoting the quality of soils and the resilience of agricultural systems in the arid and semi-arid areas of the Mediterranean through an integrated study on a geographical scale of a vast range of indicators of fertility and agronomic goodness of the systems and of the territories.

Luca Magnoni
Entrepreneur, Designer, Brand Strategy Teacher at the Communication Academy of Milan and journalist. He deals with strategic branding, marketing and communication and is an international point of reference for Digital. As Creative & Design Director of the Ninja group he was the first to introduce the techniques of Viral and Unconventional Marketing in Italy and was interested in the start-UP circuit, bringing numerous Companies to success. The results obtained led him to become Executive Member of the IADAS (International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences) in New York in 2006, the prestigious organization that brings together the best creative talents in the World and which constitutes the international jury of the Webby and Lovie Awards. He joined Wakonda because he strongly believes in the project and its scalability at an international level and for this reason he is responsible for defining and managing the strategic lines of communication.
